This is a case study introducing solutions for manufacturers of textile products. We achieved efficiency, labor reduction, and improvement of the working environment with the PUR curtain spray coating machine.
[Consultation from a manufacturer of a certain comprehensive textile product]
Adjustment of the base material requires skilled workers' techniques. We are using a frame laminating machine for bonding processes, but when fusing the base material with flame, CO2 and dioxins are generated due to combustion. Additionally, there is a risk of fire from the above processing method, and they contacted us to improve the bonding method.
[Introduced System]
- 3 curtain spray guns (coating width: 700mm to maximum width of 2,100mm), W-pail melter, relay manifold
[Features]
■ Utilizes the cohesion and viscosity of hot melt (adhesive) to extrude fine fibers, enabling uniform thin film application
■ Achieves a soft finish with breathability
■ Cost benefits *Reduction in the amount of hot melt (adhesive) used
[Effects of Introduction]
- Improvement of work environment (reduction of CO2 and dioxins)
- Labor saving
- Increased productivity (production speed from 20m/min to over 40m/min)
- Improved product quality (realization of texture through fiberization of polyurethane resin)
